HC Minaur Baia Mare is a handball club from Baia Mare, Romania, which plays in the Romanian First League of Handball and Romanian Cup of Hanball.

  • 1974 - HC Minaur Baia Mare was founded in May 14, when it became the first handball-club only (without any other sports sections) in Romania;
  • 1978 - Minaur win the first trophy - the Romanian Cup of Handball;
  • 1985 - By winning the EHF Cup, Minaur became the first team from outside Bucharest to win an European Trophy. The performance is repeated in 1988;
  • 1998 - Minaur win the Romanian Handball League for the first time, making it again in 1999.
