HAS MATT? _____________

I edited a few things on this page.

1. I added group 6.3 (PGIII) poisons. 2. I replaced "flash powders" with "display fireworks" for explosive class 1.3. Flash powder is actually classified as a 1.1 explosive. 3. I replaced "hydrogen cyanide" with "potassium cyanide" and "mercuric chloride" for poison class 6.1. Hydrogen Cyanide is actually classified as a 2.3 compressed (poison) gas.

[edit] Class 1

why does it seem that no one knows the whole truth about explosives and even less know about the classes?

[edit] Training Materials

I have posted the beginnings of training materials for HazMat personnel on Wikiversity:School of Fire and Emergency Management. Would you folks be interested in posting information and content to it? If so, let me know on the Talk page of the site or email me.--Mfinney 19:26, 12 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] this article appears to have been wiped out

It looks like someone decided about 10 April that most of the material in this article did not belong. Comments? Should I restore the longer version?

It seemed to me that a major part of what had been here was specific to transportation of hazardous materials and perhaps belonged in a separate article, or merged with similar material in the Dangerous Goods article. Pzavon 01:51, 19 April 2006 (UTC)
