Hazelwick School

Hazelwick School is a comprehensive school which is situated in Crawley, West Sussex. It was opened in 1953. It has the status of being a Technology college and has some well known former pupils including Gareth Southgate and local MP Laura Moffatt. Big Brother 2005 runner up Eugene Sully and Chico Slimani - who appeared on X Factor UK series 2 - also attended.
Hazelwick is a West Sussex local authority, co-educational, comprehensive school for pupils aged from 11 to 18+. It has achieved many Awards including Naacemark for Schools. The Naacemark has been developed by Naace, in association with Becta. It is an award which recognises a school's success in developing and implementing a strategic approach to ICT. It provides a framework for using ICT to enhance teaching and learning and provides opportunities for the school community to develop ICT capability. Hazelwick has over 110 teachers and more than 2100 pupils.
