Hazard Community and Technical College (HCTC), located in Hazard, KY, is one of 16 two-year, open-admissions colleges of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS). Established as Hazard Community College in 1968, the name of the college was changed to Hazard Community and Technical College in 2003. HCTC has three campuses: the Hazard Campus and Technical Campus, both in Hazard, and the Lees College Campus (formerly Lees College, est. 1883). HCTC is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).
