Hayley McQueen
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hayley McQueen is a TV sports presenter on Manchester United's internal TV channel called Manchester United TV or MUTV.
Hayley is the daughter of former Manchester United and Scotland football player Gordon McQueen.
Hayley began her television career working for the internal television channel of Middlesbrough F.C. She then joined the Sky Sports TV Channel, regularly presenting the "Through the Night" programme. McQueen then left Sky Television in October 2006 joining MUTV as a presenter.
Hayley has also worked in television production, winning a Royal Television Society award for "best non-factual production" for a short programme for young football fans in the Northeast of the UK.
Despite her capabilities, along with weathergirl Suzanne Charlton (daughter of former English footballer Bobby Charlton), presenters Gabby Logan (daughter of former Welsh footballer Terry Yorath), Kelly Dalglish (daughter of former Scottish footballer Kenny Dalglish) and Kirsty Gallacher (daughter of Scottish golfer Bernard Gallacher) McQueen is seen by many as yet another example of growing nepotism trends in British media and television circles.
