Hayden Shaw

Hayden Jonathan Shaw (born August 31, 1980 in Christchurch) is a field hockey player from New Zealand, who earned his first cap for the national team, nicknamed The Black Sticks, in 2002 against Australia.
The master of the so called drag flick, Shaw's international career couldn’t have got off to a better start as a member of the Commonwealth Games silver medal winning team. He also plays first class cricket for Canterbury.
At the completion of the 2006 Men's Hockey World Cup, Shaw was selected for the World Cup All Star team.
When Shaw comes back in 2006-2007 he will play for HC Den Bosch in the Netherlands.
