Hayat Muhammad Khan Sherpao

Hayat Muhammad Khan Sherpao was one of the Co-Founders of Pakistan Peoples Party, being a close ally to Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.

He remained Governor of NWFP. Pakistan from 25th of December 1971 to 30th of April 1972.

He was brother of Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao.

Famous town of Peshawar, Hayatabad is named after him.

He was assasinated on 16th of Feb, 1975, in a bomb explosion.
