Hawksworth, West Yorkshire

Hawksworth is a small, early twentieth-century council estate in north-west Leeds, West Yorkshire, England.
It is situated on a hill between West Park and Horsforth and is circled by Butcher Hill, the A65 and Vesper Road and come under the LS5 Kirkstall postcode.
It has a few shops but no pubs. Though there was a great pub there on Vesper Road called The Woodway. The likes of Terry and Dave Weston used to frequent it.
Commonly known as 'The Hawk' or 'The Hawkie'.

Hawksworth is also a surname and the name of a small village in East Nottinghamshire, England.
