Hawkmon is a fictional character from the Digimon franchise. Sealed away since ancient times, this Rookie-level bird Digimon is one of the ancient Digimon that are able to Armor Digivolve. He is a very calm Digimon and polite, seeing himself as a knight. He was voiced by Neil Kaplan (US), R. Martin Klein (US, Movie 4) & Kouichi Toochika (Japan).

In Digimon Adventure 02, he is Yolei's partner; he holds the distinction of not only being the only Digimon in the Adventure series's main cast to have a different gender than his human partner, but the first Digimon to be partnered to a human of the opposite gender in the genre.

Hawkmon was among three Digimon of ancient times sealed by the Sovereign Azulongmon in case of a crisis. That day came in the form of the Digimon Emperor as began his conquest of the Digital World. When Yolei, on her first visit to the Digital World, lifted the Digi-Egg of Love, Hawkmon was freed from his supended animation. Since then, Hawkmon never left Yolei's side. In the Real World, Hawkmon regresses to Poromon. Through the Digi-Eggs of Love and Sincerity, Hawkmon can Armor Digivolve to Halsemon and Shurimon.

During Arukenimon's reign of terror, Hawkmon was the last of the new Digimon to finally Digivolve naturally to Aquilamon and the second to DNA Digivolve with Gatomon to form Silphymon. On Valentine's Day 2003, Hawkmon used the Digi-Egg of Friendship to Armor Digivolve to Rinkmon.
