The Hawkes Bay Hawks are a basketball team that compete in the New Zealand National Basketball League.

They play their home fixtures at the Pettigrew Green Arena in Taradale, Napier, New Zealand. In the 2005 season they lost a dramatic grand final 69-68 to the Auckland Stars. In 2006 Hawkes Bay won their first ever NBL championship with a resounding win over the Auckland Stars.It was Hawks player Willie Burton's, first ever NBL championship also , after 21 years playing in the league.
