Haven is a CD released by the band Dark Tranquillity in 2000.
With the 2000 release of Haven, Dark Tranquillity continues to advance the musical changes they started on their previous album, Projector. With the increased use of keyboards, the music sounds fuller and deeper. Also, Mikael Stanne's increasingly original vocal performance makes the songs feel more powerful. A mix of melody, electronic pads and heavy metal that gave new fans to the band, but also became criticized by old melodic death fans that disliked the genre.
