Talk:Hatem Bazian
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I added a POV tag to the article. The language of the article is clearly not neutral. See for example the claim that "Dr. Hatem Bazian has emerged as one of the leading public intellecutals in America in recent years" and the reference to "Occupied Palestine". Any thoughts on how we might best rewrite the article?
Also, the article is problematic in a few other ways. It seems to be a vanity article, and there are no citations/references. Admiller 02:57, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
what's wrong with the term "occupied palestine"?
- I don't have a problem with the term 'occupied Palestine', although I'm sure Wikipedia has gone over this before and if something else is standard use then we can change it. But this article does read like it was written by Bazian himself. There should certainly be a mention of his 'Intifada' remark that got him on Bill O'Reilly's show, in particular. I have taken a course of his and do respect him tremendously, but this is embarrassingly one sided. I'll make some minor adjustments this morning, and work on it some more next week if nobody else has. --Norcalvb
