Hatesex, also called hatefucking or grudgefucking, is the practice of sexual intercourse between two or more people who dislike or annoy each other, or have an emotionally void relationship.
Hatesex is usually a result of sexual desire created by emotional tension between the two individuals. Some say that as the tension increases, so does the level of desire. In most cases, hatesex involves heightened sexual pleasure and more eventful sexual activity. However, it may simply facilitate emotional release. Hatesex may result in the two individuals eventually forming a friendship or romantic relationship.
Some feel that the term has a basis in sexism or nonconsensual sex.
