Hatcher Pass

Hatcher Pass is a 3,886-foot (1,148 m) mountain pass in the Talkeetna Mountains of arks/units/summit.htm Division of Parks and Outdoor Recreation. It is a well frequented recreation area, with outdoor activities including hiking, camping, skiing, etc. The Hatcher Pass lodge, in the pass, offers food and lodging. A copper/gold minning opperation previously extended throughout the area, with relics of the time still apparent.
