Hatcher Hughes

Hatcher Hughes (February 12, 1881, Polkville, North Carolina - October 19, 1945, New York, New York) was an American playwright. He was on the teaching staff of Columbia University from 1912 onward. He was awarded the 1924 Pulitzer Prize for his 1922 play Hell-Bent for Heaven.
