Whazzaaap? I'm Hasek is the best. Funny Name, huh? I'm the #1 Dominik Hasek fan! I frequently like finding Hasek pictures. If you don't like Hasek, here's a list of reasons you should still think at least think Hasek is okay. (Go to the "Why Hasek rocks" section). My favorite team is the Ottawa Senators. Too bad they lost Hasek, and other players like Martin Havlat. Oh yeah, I became a user on August 1st, 2006. I mainly fix grammar errors, and find good info sourced, to make articles better. I'm part of 'WikiProject Ice Hockey'. You can join anytime! Anyway, I just edit and add stuff to the articles. (Take a look at all the userboxes!)

[edit] Mini-Biography
I'm from southern Ontario, Canada and I play a lot of sports including hockey, baseball, basketball, soccer, and golf.
I'm especially good at hockey and baseball, and soccer except for the defensive area. I used to play defence in soccer, but forward is easier for me. In soccer, I play left wing, because I am a left footer. I play defense in hockey, but I like trying to score. I'm a right hander in hockey, basketball, golf, and baseball, but I only play in house league. I only play basketball at school.
I'm also great at street hockey, only if the sun isn't blazing, and I'm better at floor hockey (gymasium hockey) because of flat ground, and I do Hasek's style in net better, cause if I did in road hockey, I'd be black and blue from the bumpy ground.
As of now, I played 2 years of baseball, 6 of soccer, and 6 of hockey. I'll be in my 7th season of soccer next year.
I play piano too. For experienced piano players, you should know Royal Conservatory. I use those books. It's kind of hard. I'm in Grade 6 in school now, and I turn 12 in January.
I mainly watch SP, Family Guy, The Simpsons, and Ottawa and Detroit NHL games
- Oh yeah, I just made this page because everyone else makes pages for themselves.
[edit] Trivia-(well, sort of)
- I think a tree will make a sound when nobody is around.
- I have a non-identical twin brother.
- I play the Bop It Extreme 2. My brother has a high score of 229 on the Bop It Extreme 2, and I only managed 59 for my personal best.
- I'm not a good runner. I came in 349th out of almost 500 grade 5 and 6 boys for cross-country in late october. It's genetics. My dad wasn't a good runner, nor his dad! I get tired easily.
- When I grow up, I want to be either: an NHL commentary guy, NHL hockey analyst, NHL player, or an MLB player. Although I might play piano for people. If all fails or I change my mind for whatever reason, I'll be an architect, who designs houses and that stuff.
- I like to edit the Sens and player pages, the Dominik Hasek page, and other random NHL-related pages but not now, because I'm busy, and I think the pages are pretty much okay.
- I think weekends are too short.
- I spend a lot of time on the computer, playing the Nintendo Gamecube (playing NHL 2006,)piano, and practicing hockey (shooting) in my basement and yes, I hit those dang blinds a lot!
- I used to play Game Boy Advance SP, but I don't anymore because I beat all the games. I have about 5 or 6 games. I have about 9 Nintendo Gamecube games, including NHL 03-06, NHL Hitz 20-03, Mario Party 4 (I got it free with the gamecube), and some others. I also have over 50 cd-roms, and 3/4 of them are from when I was 8 and younger.
- I'm pretty good at school.
- I am a perfect speller. I donn't no abot yoou, butt I'tts harde two reed if yoou don,t now howw too spel an ditrakes thee reeder. Inn gade 1, evry1 wood ak mi howw 2 spel thgins. LOL
- I'm a neat-freak (mainly at school).
- Now, I play in grade 3 of RCM.
- I played in 4 concerts playing piano and never made any mistakes. Yay!
- Unlike other kids, I do my homework as soon as I get home from school. Sometimes I get a pencil from my desk, and do homework on the bus! Sometimes I finish assignments right when I get home.
- I only watch Detroit games when Hasek starts so I get to watch him play. It's tough trying to figure out who starts before hand. Wonder how I access the games without regular t.v.? Simple--cogeco's high definition.
- In the summer, I take piano lessons, summer camps, golf camp, baseball, and soccer. In the winter I play piano, and play hockey.
[edit] Why Hasek rocks
Here are reasons why Hasek rocks.
1. Still is the Dominator
2. If Gordie Howe can play for very long, that doesn't mean Hasek can't! Oh yeah, what about Chris Chelios?
3. Despite the groin injury last year, he would've been a Vezina nominee.
4. Is VERY flexible
5. Exciting to watch because of his style!
6. Take a look at Hasek's accolades (records and achievements)
7. Better than Patrick Roy. Admit it!
8. A good attitude--In May 2001, HaĊĦek founded the Dominik Hasek Sport & Scholarship Fund, and has donated over $1 million dollars to help underprivileged children in Buffalo play hockey. Also has "Dominator clothing" stores.
Oh yeah, Hasek would've been something like a 21-year veteran, but due to the comminist rule (check out Hasek's page in case you don't know what that is,) he did not get to play in the NHL until he was about 25, when the rule ended in 1990. However, he was able to get drafted (In 1983.) He's the best goalie in the world, and will be a future hall-of famer!
[edit] Notes/Misc.
- ( I don't know where else to put this, but) I wish that real people can change the articles themselves on Wikipedia! for example, if Dominik Hasek went to Wikipedia and add stuff about him, and delete facts that actually isn't true, so it'd be 100% accurate! If that was done, Wikipedia would be at least 25% better! We'd just need proof that the person was really him....
- Oh yeah, keep this in your head, Hasek-haters; HASEK ROCKS!
- What I don't like about editing pages/making articles is that if the computer freezes/doesn't respond, I have to start all over again! It happened I think twice now.
- Despite the fact I got blocked once, I definitely know the style of writing on Wikipedia. It happens to most people. Besides, I'm only 11, and is not that much of a veteran on Wikipedia. And I'm definitely not a vandal. I want Wikipedia to be an accurate site, and a site that has good info so it can be used for projects about something. I just don't like how there isn't any disclaimer templates, like Wikipedia:No disclaimer templates.
- When I collect Hasek pics and Ottawa Senators pics, I turn them into desktop wallpapers, like this and this. Except I don't know how to do all those shadings such as this, and this on the backgrounds. How, I wonder. How??? However, I'm pretty good at cutting out images, using Paint, the customly installed graphics editor. I wish I had Micromedia Fireworks 8 to do it better, but can't because When I installed it, soon after, the blue screen of death appeared every few hours, so I had to start from scratch again, and look for the Ottawa Senators and Hasek pics over again. For fonts, I use this.
