Hassi Messaoud

Hassi Messaoud (Arabic: حسي مسعود) is a town in eastern Algeria. Oil was discovered here in 1956 and the town's prominence has grown rapidly since then. It is an oil refinery town. British Airways and Astraeus serve the airport to London-Gatwick, Hahn Air to Madrid and Aigle Azur to Paris-Charles De Gaulle.
