Hasselager

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hasselager is a small suburban area in the south-western part of Aarhus in Denmark.

The community consists of approximately 4,000 residents of mostly Danish heritage.

Current political topics in Hasselager include the building of a mosque and an Islamic school. There is the belief that people in the community fear Islamization of the community due to the construction and in-flux of residents with Middle Eastern heritage. However, only 1% of the total population of Aarhus voted for the list Århus Mod Moskéen whose only wish is to halt the construction of the mosque.
