Hashimoto, Wakayama

Hashimoto (橋本市; -shi) is a city located in Wakayama Prefecture, Japan.
As of September 30, 2005, the city has an estimated population of 55,078 and a density of 497.94 persons per km². The total area is 130.24 km².
Its sister city is Rohnert Park, California.

- The city was founded on January 1, 1955.
- On March 1, 2006, the town of Koyaguchi from Ito District merged into the city of Hashimoto.
