Hashim Jalilul Alam Aqamaddin

Hashim Jalilul Alam Aqamaddin (died 1906) was the 25th sultan of Brunei, holding office from from 1885 to 1906. He was previously known as Pengiran Temenggong Pengiran Anak Hashim. In 1888, the Sultan made an agreement with the British stating that all Bruneian territories outside the sultanate's borders were now under British rule. 18 years later, he declared Brunei a British protectorate. He died in the same year.
