NPOV: I left an NPOV note. I think this article needs to at least try and describe the reasons why various organisations have 'banned' Harry Potter articles. The page reads more like a site trying to indict anybody with a different mindset. --Fermion 04:54, 1 Aug 2004 (UTC)

The irony is too funny.

You have a point - and I think the article should be moved to Religious objection to Harry Potter with more explanation; there is a bit on the main page. Dbiv 23:29, 4 Nov 2004 (UTC)

I have added the reasons some organizations have for censoring the books and provided the responses of pro-Potter activists. This article should be kept apart from Religious objections to Harry Potter because the articles have different perspectives on the issue.

The "[3]" and the "[4]", references that lead nowhere, look kinda suspicious. --Kizor 12:15, 11 July 2005 (UTC)

The quotation of Pope Benedict XVI is false, as it's based on an incorrect translation from german to italian published by some press. The article seems to be really POV. Also the title shoud be "Critics..." as catholic church never censored Harry Potter, and (in Italy and other states) the books are usually sold also in catholic bookshops. [edit] Redirecting

I'm redirecting this to Harry Potter, for two reasons: 1. Most of this information is discussed in the Controversy section of that article 2. There is practically no citation in this article whatsoever. By Wikipedia:Verifiability, "Information on Wikipedia must be reliable. Facts, viewpoints, theories, and arguments may only be included in articles if they have already been published by reliable and reputable sources. Articles should cite these sources whenever possible. Any unsourced material may be challenged and removed." Removing unsourced information from this article would amount to blanking the entire article, so I'm simply redirecting it to Harry Potter, where work can focus on making that article more up to speed.
