The heroic defense of the Chilean refugees in the Swedish and Cuban embassies by Harald Edelstam, days after the violent coop in Chile in 1973, is narrated in the novel "El Amor llegó por el lado izquierdo" (in Spanish) (see pages 182-183) by Helios Murialdo. It was published by Split Quotation, Ottawa, Canada in 1994; ISBN: 1-895006-55-4.
