"STILL LIFE" by D.E. Hardy, 1993. Original colored pencil on art paper. This work is typical of Hardy in the 1990's infusing conglomerate tattoo iconography with fine-arts presentation and media. Over the next decade, Hardy's work moves still farther from traditional tattoo forms to explore surfaces, materials, textures, and papers of extreme variety. Photograph by Walt Morton of an original D.E. Hardy artwork (pencil on paper) owned & held in the Morton Collection. Limited redistribution for educational purposes allowed with attribution to Don Ed Hardy as artist.
