Harvey Pulford

Harvey Pulford (1875 in Toronto, Ontario - October 31, 1940) was a Canadian professional ice hockey defenseman who played for the Ottawa Silver Seven and Ottawa Senators.
Gordie Howe said of Harvey "If it wasn't for Charlie Conacher, Harvey would have been named the top Canadian sportman of the first half of the 20th Century". In addition to being an excellent hockey player, he was also an excellent rower. He led his crew team to a win in the 1911 Henley Royal Regatta. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1945.
