Harvey Goldschmid is currently a law professor at Columbia University. From 2002 to 2005, he served as a member of the Securities & Exchange Commission, where he was an "intellectual heavyweight" who, as a Democrat, was a chief ally of reformist Republican chairman William Donaldson.[1]
