Harry Tipper is a video game character from the TimeSplitters series of first-person shooters.

As the game describes him, Harry Tipper is a 70's-style caricature of 'Disco' secret agents, who spends every Story-mode level he features in (with the exception of his level in TimeSplitters) attempting to defeat his arch-nemesis Khallos.

He is one of the few characters to have appeared in every TimeSplitters game.

[edit] Backstory

Little about Harry Tipper's backstory has been revealed, but we can assume he has some money and may have been born into it, as he is the joint owner of at least one Disco and always has a wide selection of clothing, both for males and females, to hand. According to Harry's description in TimeSplitters 2, he was originally a New York Cop before somehow moving to a career as a spy.

Before becoming a secret agent, Harry was a police officer. In this mission, Det. Tipper raids a Chinese restaurant that is a front for a criminal ring. He then proceeds to gather the gang's files, and escape. His police partner is Lt. Christine Malone, and though Tipper is in a relationship with Kitten Celeste after this mission, it appears that he and Malone had some kind of romance as well, sparking many brawls at "The Big Tipper", Harry's co-owned nightclub and disco.

[edit] Timesplitters2

When we next see Tipper, it is two years later and now acting as a secret agent. Captured by Khallos, he manages to free himself from his prison and almost certain death and deactivate various explosives around the atomsmasher base before ensuring that Khallos meets his demise (or so it seems). This time he is aided by Kitten Celeste, and the two of them escape together.

Harry is tracking Khallos, who is angry at Tipper for ruining his plans for world domination. Cortez and Tipper team up and sneak through the defences and past the guards before entering Khallos' base. Posing as guards and wearing guard's uniforms (Cortez a male uniform, Tipper a female uniform) they restart the power in the base and fight their way to the sublevels. They are separated, but both manage to board the Khallos Express and continue their hunt for Khallos. Tipper and Cortez board the train and travel from car to car searching for Khallos, in the hope of preventing the launch of his "French missile", a nuclear weapon he is planning on using to start World War 3. They battle two attack helicopters and deactivate the missile before engaging Khallos himself, before eventually stopping the train just before it runs over Kitten Celeste, Tipper's girlfriend. At this point Cortez leaves.

Sometime later, Tipper hears Cortez's frustrated scream (at Crow's escape) through time and recognizes it with a cry of "Spaceman!"
