Sir Harry Munro, Bt of Foulis (c. 1720 – 12 June 1781) was a Scottish soldier and politician. He was loyal to the Hanoverian dynasty and served as a Captain in Loudouns Regiment 1745-48.
During the Jacobite Rising in 1745 Munro took part in the Battle of Prestonpans, when he was captured, he was later released. His father Robert Munro (1684 - 1746) was killed at Falkirk during the rising, so Harry became the Chief and 7th Baronet on 17 January 1746 and led the Clan Munro to victory at the Battle of Culloden in 1746.
In politics Munro was a supporter of the Duke of Newcastle, a prominent Whig who was Prime Minister 1754-1756 and 1757-1762.
Munro served as MP for Ross-shire 11 December 1746-1747 and for Tain Burghs 1747-1761.
