Harry James Angus

Harry James Angus (Born 11th June, 1982 Melbourne, Victoria) is a Australian singer-songwriter and trumpet player. He is one of the lead vocalists in the Melbourne band The Cat Empire along with Felix Riebl.
He joined group in early 2000. Harry has been playing trumpet since the age of twelve and learnt to scat from listening to the Jazz greats. He went to school at McKinnon Secondary College in Melbourne before studying at the Victorian College of the Arts. In October 2006 he appeared as a panelist on the ABC Australian Music Quiz show Spicks and Specks. Harry is also part of The Conglomerate, a four-piece Melbourne band. He has currently just finished recording a solo project which is still in the production stages.
