Henry "Harry" Bedford (born October 15, 1899 in Grassmoor; died June 24, 1976 in Derby) was an English professional football player.
Bedford, a striker, began his career at Nottingham Forest in 1919, and it was after his performance against Blackpool at the City Ground that the promotion-seeking Seasiders signed him in March 1921.
Remarkably, Bedford scored seven goals in his first ten league games for Blackpool. In 1922/23 and 1923/24, he was the country's top scorer, a feat which only Jimmy Hampson equalled.
In 1924/25, Bedford's goals helped Blackpool reach the fourth round of the FA Cup for the first time.
In September 1925, he moved to Derby County, where for five consecutive seasons he was the club's top scorer.
He later played for Newcastle, Sunderland, Bradford Park Avenue and his hometown club, Chesterfield. He ended his playing career with non-league club Heanor Town.
