Harry Andrews

Harry Andrews (November 10, 1911 - March 6, 1989) was an English actor.

He was born Harry Fleetwood Andrews in Tonbridge, Kent. After a stage career as a Shakespearean actor, he became one of Britain's most prolific character actors in films of the 1950s and 1960s, often playing army officers, sergeant majors and other authority figures.

His son is the actor and director David Andrews. He was a longtime companion of actor Basil Hoskins.
