Harrowden, Bedfordshire

Harrowden is a hamlet in the English county of Bedfordshire; it is located south of the town of Bedford and east of the suburb and former village of Elstow. In modern terms it is southwest of the intersection of the A421 and A600 roads.

  • The name of the hamlet comes from the Anglo-Saxon Hearg-dūn, meaning "Temple Hill".
