Harrow Road
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Harrow Road is a main road in London which heads out from the capital in a northwesterly direction towards Harrow.
It starts at Edgware Road junction, as the A404, where the A40 passes over as the Marylebone flyover. It then runs beneath the A40 Westway until near Royal Oak station, where Harrow Road curves northwest and the Westway continues west towards White City.
Passing through Ladbroke Grove, the road passes Kensal Green station and the A219 before being taken over by other roads in the section between Willesden Junction, Harlesden and Stonebridge Park, before the name is picked up again after the junction with the A406 North Circular Road.
The road is taken over by High Road, Wembley before the Harrow Road reappears as the London Borough of Brent is entered.
Finally, the A404 follows a more northerly route and the Harrow Road becomes the A4005 before the road ends at the junction with Sudbury Hill, just shy of the town itself.
