Haroonabad (Urdu: ہارون آباد) is a tehsil (Subdivision ) of Bahawalnagar District, in the Punjab Province of Pakistan. It is located south of Bahawalnagar on a ditsnace of 50 KM. The population of the city is round about 60,000. Most of the people are farmers owning small pieces of land. Literacy rate is very low. The weather of the city is very hot during summer and a bit relaxing during winter. and one of the most famous thing of this city is that this city is the city of minstres.............and now this city is progressing by leaps and bounds...

The main thing in this city is HATIF WELFARE SOCIETY presided by Ch. Asif Ejaz, a very active personality. And the main thing is that all the people of the city try their best to finance and sponsor this society. The people here are really very nice and try their best to help others in any matter.
