Harold C. Ostertag

Harold Charles Ostertag (June 22, 1896 - May 2, 1985) was a Republican member of the United States House of Representatives from New York.

Ostertag was born in Attica, New York. He graduated from the Chamberlain Military Institute in 1915 and served in France during World War I. He worked for the New York Central Railroad from 1917 until 1950. He was a member of the New York State Assembly from 1932 until 1950. He was elected to Congress in 1950 and served from January 3, 1951 until January 3, 1965. He was a delegate to the 1952 Republican National Convention, 1956 Republican National Convention and the 1960 Republican National Convention. He died in Pompano Beach, Florida
