Harold Allen Tichenor (born June 3, 1921, Napton, Missouri, died September 13, 2005) was a noted genealogist.

He wrote a definitive genealogy titled "Tichenor Families in America", published in 1988. This 736-page work traces the Tichenor family from Martin Tichenor, who took the Oath of Allegiance at the New Haven Colony in August 1644.

Harold Tichenor lived his entire life in Napton, Missouri and traveled the United States extensively researching the Tichenor family.
