Harishpur is a census town in Barddhaman district in the Indian state of West Bengal.

As of 2001 India censusGRIndia, Harishpur had a population of 8401. Males constitute 55% of the population and females 45%. Harishpur has an average literacy rate of 57%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 66%, and female literacy is 46%.
