The Hari Sri Vidya Nidhi School was started as a primary school in 1978 and was later registered under the name of the "Hari Sri Vidya Nidhi Trust" as a society under the "Travancore-Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Registration Act" on 27th July 1983. Mrs. Nalini Chandran was the founder Principal of the School. The School is situated at Thrissur, Kerala, India. It is affiliated to the "Council for Indian School Certificate Examination", New Delhi (CISCE) which conducts the ICSE and Indian School Certificate (ISC) exams.

Hari Sri has proved its excellence in sports as well as cultural activities through the years and has bagged the overall championship in ALL KERALA ICSE/ISC meet a number of times including this year (2006).

The school has around 80 dedicated staff members. The students of Hari Sri figure regularly among those selected for various scholarship programmes including SINGAPORE AIRLINES and the UNITED WORLD COLLEGE. The school is widely appreciated for its discipline and order.The so called "HARI SRI SPIRIT" is something great .
