Hardeep Singh Kohli

Hardeep Singh Kohli (born 1969) is a Sikh writer, presenter and reporter.
Born in Glasgow, Scotland, Kohli attended the University of Glasgow to study Law. Whilst studying, he worked at the avant-garde Citizens Theatre in Glasgow and managed a few different restaurants. After graduating, he took a job at BBC Radio Scotland where he was chosen to be a BBC graduate production trainee which involved two years of training.
Kohli is best known for writing, directing and starring in Channel 4's Meet the Magoons in 2005. He also produced the light-hearted documentary In Search of the Tartan Turban for Channel 4 which explored cultural identity as a Briton and a Scot belonging to an ethnic minority as well as "A Beginners Guide to Scientology". In September 2006 he took part in BBC One's Celebrity Masterchef programme, reaching the final along with Roger Black and Matt Dawson.
