10208 in the end of 2004. http://www.haparanda.se/download/18.11a3341710708d19e4d8000443/SCB2583.pdf The 4700 mentioned in the article is probably the population of the administrative centre, not the whole municipality.
The article is about both the municipality and the administrative center (I tried to make this as clear as possible in the top of the page and in the lead section, but I understand it is still confusing). The number 10,208 is also present in the infobox. / Fred-Chess 20:04, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
