Happy New Year was a single release by the A*Teens- a cover of ABBA's song with the same name. This single was released to celebrate the arrival of the new millennium. It reached #4 on the Swedish charts becoming the band's 4th consecutive Top Ten in the country earning a Gold certification weeks afer its release.[1] The single wasn't released worldwide, only in selected countries. By public demand, Happy New Year, was released in Chile after their visit in February 2000.
No video was made to support the single's release.
