Talk:Hanging in NDH
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Two objections here:
1. Although there were hangings in NDH, much more people of all nationalities were killed in concentration camps (compared with number of hangings in article); stating that hanging was characteristic against Serbs is not true. They hanged Serbs, Jews, partisans, and even Croats they didn't like.
2. The upper picture clearly does not show orthodox priests. Those are two civilians, but surely not orthodox priests, who wear orthodox suits and are bearded.
While entire article does talk about crimes that did happen in NDH, it seems that, since they seem to be written by a Serbian author, they are not unbiased. This article needs more unbiased facts.--217.14.215.14 11:01, 22 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] This article is a mess
This article should be re-written by a disinterested party (ie, someone who isn't a Serb or Croat). Moreover, it should probably just be merged into a history of Croatia during the second world war.--Netparrot 09:45, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
- I agree. This article doesn’t cite references to their affirmations or photo captions, and its text is blatantly POV (it seems like a 1990’s piece of Milosevic’s propaganda to villanize Croatia). I’m not saying here that NDH was a nice regime and the hangings were fabrication — cleary they weren’t! But I think it’s not necessary to create a separate article for these events. It should be merged within the Independent State of Croatia article.--MaGioZal 08:14, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
- I suggest this to be incorporated into a new article named Genocide in the Independent State of Croatia --TheFEARgod (Ч) 02:38, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
