Hans Christian Schmidt

Hans Christian Schmidt (born August 25, 1953) has been the Danish Minister of Food since 2 August 2004, as member of the Cabinet of Anders Fogh Rasmussen I and II. Before that, he was the Minister for the Environment from November 27, 2001 in the Cabinet of Anders Fogh Rasmussen I. He is a member of the Liberal Party, and has been a member of parliament (Folketinget) since the 1994 Danish parliamentary election.
