Hannah Simone

Hannah Simone (born London, England) is a television host and former fashion model. In May 2006, she became nationally-seen VJ for the MuchMusic specialty service in Canada.

[edit] Childhood and youth timeline
- Hannah Simone spends her early childhood in Calgary, Alberta
- ages 7-10: living in Saudi Arabia with her family
- age 10: moves through three continents, attending schools at each location
- age 13: now living in Cyprus, she works as a fashion model and is featured on the cover of that nation's leading fashion publication
- age 16: living in New Delhi, India and attending an American Embassy school, she would organise a benefit concert for women and children with AIDS
- age 17: return to Canada, first at White Rock, British Columbia, subsequently to Vancouver

She received the following degrees:
- University of British Columbia: Honours BA - International Relations and Political Science
- Ryerson University: BA 2005, Radio and Television Arts.

For two years, she was a researcher for a book by Lloyd Axworthy, previously a Foreign Affairs minister under the Jean Chrétien cabinet. After this, she moved to the UK to work with the United Nations in London supporting the Model UN program and serving as a human rights and refugee officer.
During her studies at Ryerson, she was a radio host at the campus-based CKLN-FM. Following her 2005 graduation from Ryerson, she became host of HGTV Canada's television show Space for Living for its first season.
