Hang Ten is an American clothing brand founded in 1960. Its clothing is sold in more than 72 countries. Hang Ten is derived from a term used in surfing, in which a surfer will stand at the front of a surf board and wrap the ten toes of the feet around the front of the surfboard. The company currently has plans to open retail stores around the United States, and opened several in 2005 to test the market. This attempt was not successful. [1].

Hang Ten uses an embroidered set of footprints as their logo.

The company headquarters are in Poway, CA.
