Handen is a town in Metropolitan Stockholm, and the seat of Haninge Municipality (kommun) in Stockholm County in eastern Sweden. It had 11,524 inhabitants in 2003. Geographically the urban area is incorporated into Stockholm urban area (total population 1,200,000).

Handen is where the Municipality House, kommunhus, of Haninge is located. Haninge's major shopping centre, Haninge Centrum and the joint campus of KTH and Södertörns Högskola, are also located here.

Handen translates to "the hand" in Swedish.
