In Sumerian and Akkadian mythology Hanbi or Hanpa (more commonly known in western text) was a god of evil, lord of all evil spirits, and father of Pazuzu. Very little is known of this demon other than that he is the father of the well known Pazuzu. In popular belief, throughout many religious sects, Hanpa is another identification of Satan and the brother of Michael (archangel).
