C'est moi

I'm Ham and I edit mainly in the sorely underdeveloped field of visual art.

The article I've put the most into is probably National Gallery, London. I've had a long fascination with the place since seeing the director Neil MacGregor presenting a BBC documentary about it when I was 11 or thereabouts. Prior to discovering Wikipedia I had created a website on the Gallery here, and my work for NG-related topics on this site is really a continuation of that project, with the difference that people actually read Wikipedia! When I have more and better reference works at my disposal (i.e. after I move to London in October to study at the Courtauld Institute of Art) I hope to bring that article up to featured article status.

Another of my favourite places on earth is the Galleria Borghese in Rome, the article for which was the very first that I created (under an anonymous IP address). Possible future projects on the wiki include expansions of British Museum, Victoria and Albert Museum, Louvre, Tate Modern et al, all of which deserve better articles than they have at the moment. The prospect of creating a brilliantly-designed userpage is even further off in the future, I'm afraid.
