The Hamilton County Democratic Party is the official representative of Democrats living in Hamilton County, Indiana.
The Democratic Party in Hamilton County is organized under a committee structure. The Hamilton County Democratic Central Committee consists of a Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer. These officers are elected every 4 years by Democratic precinct committeepeople in Hamilton County. The central committee is the highest authority in setting county party policy. The central committee establishes policy and conveys the beliefs of all local Democratic Party candidates. The County Central Committee also represents Hamilton County in the Fifth District Democratic Central Committeeand Indiana Democratic State Committee.
