Hamilton, Ontario (township)

Hamilton Township (2001 population 10,785) is a rural township located in Northumberland County in central Ontario. It was named after Henry Hamilton, Lieutenant-Governor of Quebec from 1782-1785.



North: Rice Lake, Otonabee-South Monaghan, Ontario
West: Port Hope, Ontario
Hamilton East: Alnwick-Haldimand
South: Cobourg, Lake Ontario
