Hamidreza Nikkar Esfahani

Hamidreza Nikkar Esfahani was appointed on 24th May 2006 as the Iranian ambassador to the Republic of Ireland. He then presented his credentials to the president of Ireland on 16th June 2006.

According to the Iranian Foreign Ministry's Press and Information Department, Nikkar has earlier served as Iran's ambassador to Armenia, deputy foreign minister, and mayor of Isfahan.
